Verdandi Diamond, Platinum and Gold Ring

Diamond, platinum and gold ring.

One of the three Norns of Norse Mythology, Verdandi weaves fate and destiny, alongside Urdr and Skuld. Verdandi can be said to represent the present.

This ring is beautifully understated and is created in such a way with the mixed precious metals that it can only be handmade.  The top shows the diamond surrounded by a 22k yellow gold halo for contrast, and then a further platinum halo.  The band and the underside are all in 18k yellow gold.  Circles are fascinating, representing a moment and eternity at the same time.
