Most jewellers can make something for you. That's the promise of bespoke, and it usually 
leads to a ring, a chosen special stone made into a pendant, designed around a memorable date. This page is about work that goes further than that.

Pieces where the engineering matters as much as the beauty, where clasps and mechanisms have to be invented, and where the difference between good and extraordinary lives in an adaptation no one else 
will ever see or wear.

These pieces are the ones that move with life instead of marking a single moment in it. A tiara 
can be worn at a wedding, then as a necklace for years after, to later come apart as a bracelet for 
each daughter, and a brooch or pendant for that special granddaughter.

I take on only a few of these each year, but these are the projects I clear my calendar for. They're talked
into existence through long conversations, drawings passed back and forth, decisions revisited until
they're just right. Work like this can't be made quickly, and most of it can't be made by machine.
It calls for craftsmen who understand mechanics as much as metal, built by hand over months,
sometimes far longer. None of it moves faster than it should.

Gem sourcing is its own quiet part of my work. Whether you arrive knowing exactly which type
of gem you want, or we settle on the stone together, finding it is mine to do. Years of relationships 
with cutters, dealers and collectors mean unusual gems reach me early, and when a piece calls 
for something specific, the search can go anywhere it needs to.
